Hadouken! Gig: Fucking Amazing

Yesterday I went to a gig in Poole, a town not too far away from where I live, yet has a lot more going on than Gill, to see a band I love, Hadouken! The gig overall was amazing and I loved it, I wasn’t too battered and bruised by the Mosh pits that went on, it seemed like there was a new one every 5 seconds, but then the Moshes were only really in the support acts, one of which I do not know, the other is now a band I enjoy, Soft Toy Emergency, which I recommend to people. Then as soon as Hadouken! got onto the stage, everyone went mental to the point that the barrier at the front fell down, hilarious for a minute or so then boring as the band stopped until it was fixed Then Hadouken! started playing and everyone went insane, and opened with the song “Get Smashed, Gate Crash” the opening track of their current album “Music For an Accelerated Culture” Then they played their latest single “M.A.D” which is amazing, but to make things even better they shouted “We have a special guest” to which a man dressed up in a mouse costume ran on, for those of you that haven’t seen the M.A.D video it includes a mouse getting drunk, then getting beaten up.

So you see why it was fucking awesome to see the mouse!

I highly recommend seeing Hadouken! live if you can and at £10 a ticket for the gig I went to, it is well worth the money.
